There is no need to uninstall the existing version of your copy of an Acronis product before updating it to the latest build
Introduction
The latest update of an Acronis product can be installed over the existing version of the same product.
Solution
To update your copy of an Acronis product, run the installation file of the latest update and select the Repair/Upgrade option.
More information
Installing the latest version or build of an Acronis product over the existing version re-installs Acronis drivers in the system. Depending on how major the update is, this operation may or may not require the system to reboot.
